These helmet nets appeared late in the Second World War for the M1 helmet. An essential bit of kit for anyone doing a WW2 US impression whether it be for reenactments, airsoft players or period film productions..
From socks, tooth brushes, underwear and forks - the US military had to equip its fighting men from head to toe. Unsurprisingly, a Army needs utensils to be fed! Issued together with a knife, spoon and fork. The originals were issued with leather covers (unfortunately no covers included) but alternatively you can loop these together with some string through the holes on the handles. Made with modern stainless steel. An essential bit of kit for anyone eating some WW2 period chow whether it be for reenactments, airsoft players or period film productions.
