End-grain cutting boards are uniquely resilient to daily use, due to the orientation of the grain. With edge-grain cuttings boards, the knife tends to sever the wood fibers. Each cutting board features hand grooves sculpted into each end. Rubber feet have been installed onto the undersides of the boards to keep them from sliding during use. Brass screws have been used to prevent corrosion.
