Our chashaku bamboo scoops are hand carved in Nara at the venerable Chikusendou studio. While often ignored, chashaku are an indispensable tool for measuring your matcha. Each almond shaped scoop of matcha is equal to .5g - meaning 3-4 scoops guarantees a perfect bowl of matcha..

Noashi whisk stands extend the life of your whisk but allowing it to dry evenly and forms the whisk to the proper shape. (Whisk is not included)

Hand Carved from old growth bamboo in the town of Nara, outside of Kyoto, by Keizou Kube. Whisks of this quality are not only stronger but provide more flexibility and give while holding up significantly longer than lower quality, cheaply made chasen. Each piece is a miniature work of art taking over 2 hours to complete.
