Easily and accurately monitor the cooking process of a variety of foods with this CDN DTP392 5 1/2" digital cooking probe thermometer. This unit features a 5 1/2" type 304 stainless steel needle probe that allows you to quickly measure food temperature. The needle point probe is ideal for use in direct insertion applications, such as when measuring the temperature of roasts and other meats in the oven or on the grill. It is also great for use when making candy. This thermometer measures temperatures between 32 and 392 degrees Fahrenheit with an accuracy of +/- 4 degrees Fahrenheit between temperatures of 32 and 104 degrees Fahrenheit, +/- 6 degrees Fahrenheit between temperatures of 105 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit, and +/- 10 degrees Fahrenheit between temperatures of 213 and 392 degrees Fahrenheit. To ensure optimal performance in and around the oven, the 36" high-heat sensor cable can withstand temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermometer has a dual-progress digital screen with large, easy-to-read digits that provides simultaneous display of cooking temperature and alert temperature at which the alarm will sound. The display and controls are housed in a durable, food-safe, and easy-to-clean white ABS plastic case. The case can be magnet-mounted or stand upright on the desired resting surface. This unit includes (1) 1.5V AAA IEC LR03 alkaline battery, making it ready to use upon arrival.
